AKSARA No.03 — Bison | Vintage Typography Specimen | Graphic Design Ephemera (c.1940s)

A vintage German typographic specimen from the C. E. Weber Schriftgießerei, Stuttgart.

A beautiful piece of original printed ephemera showcasing the expressive Bison typeface alongside other examples of commercial & editorial typography.

The leaflet is particularly interesting as a document of early-to-mid 20th-century German type culture. The typography is presented through advertisements, headings, employment notices & commercial compositions, allowing the typeface to be seen in its intended practical context rather than simply as an alphabet specimen.
